Hi, I am Martin and I have been making home brew regularly since 2004. I live in Stamford and have a passion about fine food and drink, and a great love of my home town.
I first started after tasting some elderflower wine at a party, I could not believe that someone had made something so good from barely any ingredients. Most of the input is time and care. I was instantly drawn in.
Since then I have done many experiments with wines and beer. I now enjoy real ale and wine and have a good stash permanently built up and hidden away. I have built up a tonne of recipes and experience making both.
I have had many successes in the hobby, and also a few failures and disasters. All an important part of the learning curve.
